Halloween Past!

Here is a FUN project I did for my kids this year. They always look forward to the decorations for Holidays!

I used a Gigantic frame that I have. I knotted the fabric on the sides for a shabby look, spray painted clothes pins white, printed pics of our famiy from past Halloween's and mounted on cardstock and then put it all together.

I catch them daily looking and the pictures and talking about the memories they have from a certain picture! This has been really fun!

Showing some L-O-V-E

Here's a simple Decoration for Valentines Day! I just took a frame I already had, some scrapbooking supplies and paper and used the template that came inside the frame as a border and it only took about 10 minutes!
Here are some Close ups!

I think that Valentines day isnt just for couples, its a day to share the love that you have for everyone. Share it with your children, parents, grandparents, and friends!

Shirt Re-Fashion!

Here is a simple, cute, plain colored Carters shirt of Doodle's. She never wants to wear this shirt when I pick it out for her. I got it at the end of the summer on a killer deal at Sears for like just under 3 Bucks! I think Its way cute, BUT what does the Mother know. She, for some odd reason does not like it!
I have been thinking I should do something to make it fun so she will wear it, SO Janome( My sewing machine)  and I got together this weekend and whipped up a few cute things!

We used some cute fabric and did a loose single stich, so I could gather the thread and make a flower Brooch! To finish it off I simply tied some ribbon in a knot and Hot glued it to the center of the Bow!
Then we had to make an ACCESORIE to go with it , So Janome and I got back to work and sticked up some more fabric and Ribbon and created this cute Bracelet!

Whala.............Heres the cute outfit
and Iam very happy with how this fun little project turned out!
AND now Doodle says " Yes, I will wear it!"
We will see :)

Boo Boo BAGS!

Iam sure that if you have had a baby then you may have a few of these ice packs that you get in all the FREE stuff ! The kids like to use them on their Boo Boo's , so I decided I would just make something to go over them instead of always having to wrap them in a towel!

Items used : 2 Wash cloths
Time: 5 Minutes to fold in half and sew all sides together , but the top!

Now that I have them done I think I should have put a peice of velcro on the top to keep it closed and I may have to go back and add that!

Now the Girls can just grab one out of the freezer and if the cover gets dirty
I can just throw it in the washing machine! Oh and they work super great for those Growing pains in legs and arms!

Button Magnets!

Here's a fun simple Idea!
I found these cute buttons at walmart and also bought the magnetic strips there!
Just cut the magnet strip into the right size to fit on back of the button.

And here are the VERY CUTE MAGNETS on my fridge!
:( I really wanted to keep them, they are cute!
Now to make them even cuter ( is that a word????) you could out some cute ribbon in the holes and tie it, but i didnt want take the time!

THEN

I put more magnet strips on a peice of cardstock, so I could display them as a gift! I had Doodles help putting them on so they were a little crooked!

Here's how they looked on the Cardstock!

AND for the PACKAGING, cause its all IN THE PACKAGING,
I LOVE
getting pretty packages and also making pretty packages to give to others!
slide it in a celaphane bag and wrap a tule bow around it and you have this:
