November Decor.

Our ThankFul Board!

I asked our Kids things that they were ThankFul for throughout the week and then I typed them up and cut them out and when put them up on the wall on the Bulletin Board. Some are hung crooked and upside down, but my little 2 1/2 yr. old Bugs was helping me with this project. I wanted to leave it like this becuse it adds her own little touch to it!

Our Older Daughter Doolde colored this at a friends  house and I thought it would be fun to hand on the wall! She was pretty proud of it!

And Lastly, Here is a fun Turkey that was made a couple years back by Doodle in Pre-School!
Isnt he cute?

I Hope you are all Enjoying the last few Days that we have to Celebrate all that you are Thankful for. Enjoy your wonderful ThanksGiving Holiday!

All it required was some paper, Crayons, Buttons and Glue and some GOOD IMAGINATIONS!

Fun TurKey CrAft!

 Hubby's Turkey
 Doodle's Turkey
Momma's Turkey

Like these Turkey's??? They are Kindof different , BUT fun!

A few years back, Doodle, Hubby and I made these for Family night! We took colored paper and traced our hands and then cut them out to be used for the Feathers and wrote the things that we were thankful for. We traced 2 different sized bowls for the Body and the head, used a candy corn for the nose and a small peice of Licorice for the waddle. Then we drew some feet on brown paper and glued them on! It was a fun Project and I loved how each Turkey Turned out different!

ThankFul For....................

Here is our ThankFul Project my family has been working on. Each day , (if we remeber) we write on a leaf what we are Thankful for and then tape it on the tree. Its been really fun so far and then kids really look forward to taping their leaf on the tree.

It was Super Duper easy to make. I just cut branches out of card stock and taped them on the wall with clear tape, then used the cricket to cut some letters out and taped them on the wall. Here is where I got the fun templates for the leaves: http://kids.creativity-portal.com/d/projects/autumn/fall-leaf-cutout-templates2.shtml

I love the things that Doodle and Bug like to right down, especially when Dad asked Bug the other night what she was Thankful for, now Remeber she is only 22 months and she said "BackPack", so thats what went on her leaf! It was also very funny when Doodle was mad the other night and made her own leaf and wrote       " Iam not Thankful for dinner" Becuase she did not like what I made! It was super funny and we got a good kick out of it!
Hope you all are enjoying Novemeber as much as Iam. Only 2 weeks until we get to be a Grandma and Grandpas for ThanksGiving!
