Summer Kabobs!

Juicy Fruit Kabobs

This is a perfect snack for those HOT Summer Days!

These are so Simple to make, AND so YUMMY to eat! All this took was: Skewers, some time and patience, whole strawberries, watermelon cut out with a melon baller, 1" squares of pinneapple and cantelope and grapes. It was arrangned and displayed nicely ontop of the end peice of a watermelon.
Here is a simple recipe for Kabobs that I found. It also suggests to dip the fruit peices in yogurt. MMMM...Yumo!
FRUIT KABOBS
1/2 med. cantaloupe, cut into 1" cubes
1 1/2 c. strawberries, hulled
3 kiwi fruits, cut into 1" cubes
1 c. seedless grapes
2 lg. bananas, cut into 1/2" slices
3 lg. dried or fresh figs, sliced
6-12" bamboo skewers
1 c. low fat vanilla yogurt
Thread cantaloupe, strawberries, kiwi, grapes, bananas and figs on skewers. Put vanilla yogurt into small individual bowls. Dip fruit kabobs in yogurt.
