Thinking SPRING!

I wanted to do a fun project with Doodle and I have been Craving some green spring color. So, I remebered a project that the kids had done at the library last year( we ended up missing that day)  and decided we would do it!

Materials:
Ziploc sandwich bags
Potting soil
Corn seeds
Spray bottle
Black Sharpie

We put a hand full of potting soil in the bags and then put the corn seed in. Make sure the corn seed is covered by the soil. Next mist with water from the spray bottle. Lable name on the bag with a sharpie and hang in a sunny window!

Doodle is showing the finished product ready to hang in the kitchen window! We just used box tape to hang in on the window, REMEMBER to leave the top of the bag open so air can get in!
Here's the bags haging in the window!
Doodles corn plants growing just a week later!
Hurray for some new plants and color!

We have had alot of fun watching these grow. Each morning when we sit at the kitchen table for breakfast we check on them, water them and talk about them. It is a fun project and you can do this with almost any kindof seeds!
